What to expect from the course

This course will equip you with an understanding of how culture is defined within ASEAN by exploring the cultural similarities and differences of each of ASEAN’s ten member countries.

What you will do on the course

This course takes place in a learner friendly environment with all the latest teaching techniques and technologies.

During the course you will:

■ develop your knowledge of the ASEAN Sociocultural Community and its role as one the three pillars of governance within ASEAN

■ explore the similarities and differences between the ten ASEAN member countries in language and communication, cultural norms, and cultural traditions and festivals

■ enhance your functional language for both professional and social purposes within ASEAN

■ practice your English language skills in authentic contexts

■ be proficient in the language needed for professional and social interactions with members of other ASEAN countries
