Communicate local, regional and global issues through media interaction. Create video news programs focused on your local community through research, reviews and interviews. Screen the results to other students and on social media.
ACE's Media Studies 1 course will teach you to create and produce a short film by learning:

PREREQUISITE
You need very good reading and listening skills to read, analyse and understand news articles and listen to TV news programs. Using video production equipment is required.
LEARNING EXPERIENCES
Learn how to create effective interview questions and apply critical thinking skills to generate stimulating programming with a balance of interviews, reviews, recommendations (entertainment) and reports. Work collaboratively on creation and production and acquire some technical skills.
RESOURCES
Contemporary media programming in English and Khmer with necessary translations, and video production software and hardware will be used.
OUTCOMES
Confidently analyse, discuss and present facts and opinions on relevant community issues in a media environment and be able to structure, film, edit and produce short films.
